Where can I use the Payconiq by Bancontact app?
You can use the app in a variety of places:
- Online: you can pay online with the Payconiq by Bancontact app in webshops or with merchant apps that offer mobile payments with Bancontact or Payconiq. To make a mobile payment with the Payconiq by Bancontact app, tap the Bancontact or Payconiq logo on their webpage.
- Physical stores: in physical stores that accept mobile payments with Payconiq, you'll usually find a QR code with the Payconiq logo displayed somewhere close to the cash register. Simply scan the code to make your payment. Or scan the QR code that appears on the cash register display screen or on the terminal.
- Between friends: the app is also super-handy for settling debts between friends. If you want to receive payments yourself or have to pay a friend back, there are various ways of doing so: tap on 'Pay' and then 'Contacts' to repay someone via the list of contacts, or else tap on 'Receive' for an easy way of people repaying you the money they owe you.
