I get a message in the app that I need to update my app, is this mandatory?

Yes, this is a mandatory update for all users. As from end of March 2023, we will ask you to update your Payconiq by Bancontact app. With this update we want to give you a smoother app. We aim at improving the usability of the app and extend the app features for even easier mobile payments.
