What is a QR code?
A QR code (Quick Response Code) is a two-dimensional barcode designed by Denso Wave in 1994 for use in the automotive industry. Since then, the code has become increasingly popular and is now used for various applications. To read a QR code, you need a smartphone or tablet that has a camera and software able to decipher the information contained in the QR code. This software is built into the Payconiq by Bancontact app.
