Will my customer's name appear on my statements?

This depends on how your customer uses the Payconiq by Bancontact app. All customers can choose between three possible payment methods:

  1. Payment through a linked card;
  2. Payment through a linked account.
  • With a card payment, no personal payer details will be visible. All you will see are the last four digits of the linked card.
  • For a payment made through a linked account, the full name of the payer and the account number will be visible. In this scenario, your customer can choose to add a message that will be visible to you.

All payments made through our app contain the description "Payconiq". Regardless of the payment method selected by your customer, you can find more information such as your customer's first name, the payment value and the time and communication in your Merchant Portal.
