Will my customer's name appear on my statements?
This depends on how your customer uses the Payconiq by Bancontact app. All customers can choose between two possible payment methods:
- Payment through a linked card;
- Payment through a linked account.
- With a card payment, you will not see any personal payer details. All you will see are the last four digits of the linked card.
- For a payment made through a linked account, you will see the full name of the payer and the account number. In this scenario, your customer can choose to add a message that you will be able to see.
All payments made through our app contain the description "Payconiq". Regardless of the payment method selected by your customer, you can find more information such as your customer's first name, the payment value and the time and communication in your merchant portal.
