As from this month, we pilot this new service with merchants in the food and beverage sector that offer a Payconiq sticker with QR code. The pilot project starts in Antwerp. Today you can already link your Monizze meal vouchers to your app. You will be able to link your Sodexo meal vouchers to the app in February and your Edenred meal vouchers in March.
You can add your meal vouchers to the app in two ways:
- Select Services in the home screen of the app, tap on ‘Meal vouchers’ and follow the instructions to add your Edenred, Monizze or Sodexo card.
- Or go to the Menu in the top left corner of the home screen, tap on ‘Payment methods’ and follow the instructions to add your Edenred, Monizze or Sodexo card.
Prior to adding your meal voucher card, please make sure your bank account is already linked to the app. Click here to see for which banks this is currently available.
Is the amount you need to pay higher than the balance on your meal vouchers?
In this case, you have 2 options:
- Pay the total amount in 1 session: change the payment instrument from meal voucher to your linked bank account and pay 10€.
- Pay in 2 sessions: enter the maximum amount available on your meal voucher balance (eg. 4€). After completing this first payment, scan the Payconiq QR code again to pay the remaining 6€ with your linked bank account.
You can pay mobile at Payconiq merchants who also accept payments with meal vouchers from Edenred, Monizze and/or Sodexo. On January 12th a pilot will start at a small number of selected merchants in the Antwerp region.
