Payconiq available on payment terminals of Worldline

Customers can now pay with their smartphones in even more stores, as Worldline introduces the Payconiq payment solution to its payment terminals. They simply scan the QR code that appears on the screen of the Worldline payment terminal with the Payconiq by Bancontact app or a banking app integrating the Payconiq payment solution. This collaboration enables retailers to offer a wider choice of payment methods in their shop and responds to new consumer trends.

Consumers who want to pay with their phone can now also scan a QR code on Worldline's payment terminals. One more step towards an ever more seamless shopping experience."

The rollout of this solution has been underway since several months and by early 2022, all Worldline merchants will be able to offer this new payment solution in their shops.
