Say goodbye to receipts and queuing at the counter. This summer, you can buy your drinks, fries or veggie burger without having to queue up. At almost 60 festivals, summer bars and events this year, you can pay mobile with the Payconiq by Bancontact app. You just recharge your festival bracelet or card yourself, it couldn't be simpler.

Waiting half an hour in the burning sun or pouring rain to buy drinks and food vouchers? This long queue at the counter is a thing of the past. Nearly 60 festivals, summer bars and events resolutely opt for easy mobile payments. 

The concept is very simple: you scan the QR code on your festival wristband or card and reload it with the Payconiq by Bancontact app. You choose an amount, confirm the payment with your app and that's it! Now you can easily pay at the bar with your wristband or card, without having to queue at the counter. You can top up your yourself, on the field or even in your tent. This way, you get an optimal payment experience, so you can enjoy your festival visit in the best possible way. 

Mobile payments are not only handy at the festival bar and the food courts, but also between friends. With the app you can easily pay your friends back or get money back. Use the contact list to pay someone remotely or send a payment request to get your money back quickly. You can even share the bill in advance via the app! Simply generate a QR code when your friend is standing next to you. 

Getting to the festival is no problem neither, because with the Payconiq by Bancontact app you can easily pay your train, tram or bus ticket. Just tap Services and then De Lijn or NMBS.

Since a few months, you can also add your meal vouchers from Edenred, Monizze or Sodexo to the Payconiq by Bancontact app. This way, you can pay for your croissant or coffee on the way to the festival with your meal vouchers. Super handy!
