Even more users can now send a payment request with the Payconiq by Bancontact app.
From now on, customers of vdk bank can also link their bank account to the Payconiq by Bancontact app. In this way, we offer even more users access to the many advantages of mobile payments, including remotely refunding friends, sending a payment request and paying merchants via the ‘Shops’ list in the app.
Until now, customers of vdk bank were already able to link their Bancontact cards to the app. From now on, they can do the same with their bank account. This means that customers of vdk bank now have access to some extra functionalities. For example, they can easily and safely pay back friends remotely via the contact list or by sending them a payment request. They also have access to the 'Shops' list in which a lot of merchants can be found. In this way, they can also easily pay via their mobile phone in the store.
Below are all the banks whose customers can link their bank account to the Payconiq by Bancontact app: AXA, Belfius, BNP Paribas Fortis, CBC Banque, KBC Bank (including KBC Brussels), Hello bank, ING, Fintro, and vdk bank.
To do this, you just have to follow these 2 simple steps:
- Make sure your banking app is activated on your smartphone.
- Open the Payconiq by Bancontact app
- Go via the Menu to ‘Payment methods’
- Connect your bank account.
