Why does the app want to send me messages?
The Payconiq by Bancontact app will only send you messages in very specific situations and only in order to provide a better service. Examples of such situations include the following:
- Reminding you that you have not yet linked a Bancontact card or bank account to the app
- Reminding you that a card is about to expire or has expired
- Informing you when someone has sent a remote payment
- Informing you about new services
You can always switch these messages on or off via the settings on your device.
