All possibilities to pay safe using the app
Pay in store
Scan the QR code in the shop (on the sticker, the tablet, the merchant’s cash desk or the terminal).
Pay online
Scan the QR code on the screen with your smartphone and confirm the payment with your pin code. Or pay directly through your merchant’s app.
Pay back friends
Create a QR code in the app. Enter the amount. Let your friend scan your code with his/her Payconiq by Bancontact app (or a bank app that has integrated this function).
Pay at a distance
Select the shop in the ‘Shops’ list in the app. Moreover, the ‘Shops’ list allows you to check where you can pay by mobile in your neighborhood.
Send a payment request
Does someone owe you money? The Payconiq by Bancontact app allows you to send a payment request from a distance to one of your contacts. This way, he/she can pay you back immediately.
Pay local
